For the Jury

Thank you for considering me for your event. You will notice I have 3 lines of products:

History: In 2013 I started creating ear cuffs since I am unable to wear earring wires through my ears. As my business has evolved beyond wire wrapping, I now also solder, create designs with electroforming techniques and I etch hand drawn designs and color copper with the heat of flame which I call "flame painting." The flame painting has evolved into its own line of designs, each design unique.

In August 2019 I changed my business name from 'Elegant EarCuffs by Fiona' to "Fiona Thompson Designs" to incorporate my expanding skillset.

Thank you for your consideration, and if you have any questions, please reach out to me at Fiona@FionaThompsonDesigns.com.

Fiona receiving the Award of Distinction at the Rockville Artsfest 2023

In May of 2023 I was thrilled and honored to be awarded one of three Awards of Excellence at the VisArts' 11th Annual Rockville Arts Festival in Maryland. This was especially gratifying because of the quality of the Fine Art Artists and Artisans at the Show.

Hi Fiona. I just want to send you a message to thank you. My daughter has a needle phobia; she has always wanted pierced ears but was terrified to have them done. She has always felt odd and less confident because of it. We met you at Christkindlmarkt and I suggested these could work for her. She tried some and we bought a pair of ear cuffs for her. It's such a small thing, but it really gave her a boost in confidence. Her birthday is today (now 23 years old) and all she wanted was more ear cuffs. I got the 2 pairs several days ago but thought the 3rd pair would be delayed. They got here today, just in time! She loves them all! Thank you so much for what you do and for going the extra mile to get them made and shipped quickly. If you ever think what you do isn't important remember my daughter and the difference it's made for her.
